We arrived at the hotel with 4 kids, aged 13 to 7, and three adults after a very hot day at Cedar Point. The kids and their mom were in the multi-room ‘apartment’ with bath and kitchenette and we were in a separate room. All the rooms were clean and neat, beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless. It didn’t take long for everyone to cool down and relax. We had an excellent night’s rest and a good breakfast the next morning. The hotel staff let us leave our luggage and car while we headed out for a day at Put In Bay. We will stay at The Island House Hotel the next time we’re in Port Clinton.

Our family of 5 stayed in the apartment suite. It was a great stay and really nice to have a full kitchen. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. The island house hotel is in a great location with the beach and restaurants and shops all right in very close walking distance. Port Clinton is a great town with plenty to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We came in from out of town for The Burning Snowman festival. This was the second time that I've stayed in this hotel (1st time was over 2 decades ago). We were welcomed from the moment we walked through the doors. Lisa and Mark were absolutely the best and made us feel like family! I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here!

Lovely, quant and quiet.wonderful vintage establishment and decor with all the modern comforts. The surrounding city activity is just as welcoming and joyful as the Hotel. Local shops, restaurants, activities and some of the most beautiful views.

Great historic place to stay in Port Clinton. Great location near the water. We were there in the off season. Price was great, check in/out process was clearly explained. Stayed in the port suite, full kitchen large sitting area. Close enough to walk everywhere.
